All God’s Children Zambia purpose is to glorify God in everything we do! This includes Sustainability. We know that nothing truly belongs to us, but God gives us the loving responsibility to be good stewards. Jesus explains the principle of stewardship to us in Luke 16:10-12 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?”
All God’s Children Zambia desires to be faithful in the little things so that God will trust us with even greater things. We understand that “the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. (Psalm 24:1). We want to use our resources well and use what the Lord has given us. Currently, we are growing tomato’s, cabbages, and onions on the land God has given us. Also, we are starting to make blocks from the earth (termite “white ants” mounds). Then, we will use these “earth blocks” to make a wall around the property.
All God’s Children Zambia’s ultimate goal is to be sustainable (function and operate) without the support from donors or other sources. Our plan is to accomplish this by investing in agriculture and other business ventures. Colossians 3:23-24 says it best…”Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving”.
